This petition is to formally request that Major League Baseball force the Wilpon family to sell their interest in the NY Mets. The Wilpon's have proven to be fiscally irresponsible, inept at best at running a major league ball club and have CONSISTENTLY put an inferior product out into the number one market in the country. I am a life-long Mets fan that grew up in the Bronx. I thought that was hard enough but after years of seeing how the Wilpon's have made a marquee franchise completely unwatchable is despicable as well as detrimental to all Mets fans and it is time the Wilpon family was held accountable.
