We, the undersigned herein petition Principal Wallace Aristide, of Miami Northwestern Senior High School to fire the head football Coach, Willie "Billie" Rolle. Head Coach Rolle has demonstrated a continued inability to carry on the tradition rich history of winning football at Miami Northwester Senior High. Since his return, the "Bulls" as they are affectionately called have steadily declined. In 2007, Northwestern was National and State Champions. In 2008, Northwestern lost the State Championship game, after leading 21-0 in the first quarter. In 2009 Northwestern lost the Regional semi-final game. In 2010, Northwestern lost in the second round of the playoffs. In this year (2011) we face the distinct possibility of not making the playoffs, after an embarrassing lost to Belen after leading that game by 21 points to start the second half. Coach Rolle has shown a propensity for losing games that should have been won. He has also shown that he does not have control of his players or coaches. The team has been at the top or near the top in penalties four (4) years running. This community identifies socially, economically and emotionally with the team and school. Northwestern is a source of great pride and prestige. The steady decline of our beloved "Bulls" cannot be tolerated any further. Therefore, the immediate dismissal of Coach Rolle and his staff is a necessary first step in rectifying further erosion of this storied program. Please heed our anguished call through this petition to fire Coach Rolle.
