You people are morons. Jim Hughson is knowledgeable but boring as hell. You need the TV play by play man to tell you what you are watching that badly? Hello no. He adds to the excitement because you are WATCHING the damn game. Bob Cole has character and enthusiasm. Jim Hughson sounds like he is reading an encyclopedia. Bob Cole is a freggin treat to listen to. I don't need a play by play guy to be a hockey savant, I need him to make the game more entertaining. If you want someone to read the game like an audio book, enjoy Jim Hughson all day, if you want someone to get excited alongside the rest of the fans, despite his faults, give me Bobby Cole.

Bob Cole's play-by-play detracts from the quality of Hockey Night in Canada and the producers are ignoring this fact. Where in the sports broadcasting world do executives and producers allow inaccurate play calling to go on and on while knowing this to be a fact. They are allowing a program, they are responsible for, to air with sub-standard play-by-play. Come on, if one cannot get the players' names straight, make the changes that you are paid to make.

Bobs call is so poor sometimes i wonder if he is even calling the same game. He is extremely biased and uninteresting. When Bob calls a game i fall asleep or mute the game. Even great players step away from the game when yhere ability is lesser than whats called for.

Cole should have been fired 5 years ago. Does not know what is going on in the games. Makes ridiculously stupid comments. Cannot identify players. I cannot even watch the games anymore with him doing play by play. Beyond pathetic. CBC is a joke as usual.

Bob Cole simply makes too many mistakes. He is no longer fit to call hockey games. That is the bottom line. It is unclear why he has not been sidelined. I can tolerate the bias. I cannot tolerate the errors and omissions.
