Completely inept. He is taking away from these kids. It's a disservice to their present and their future. He is not qualified for the position. His coaching ability goes no further than the high school level & that's where he belongs. What a joke

He has. Single-handedly! You gotta be pretty bad to look that bad with all that talent and effort, and it's not a one-loss thing. The offense has looked putrid in 9/11 games. Yet the effort is there - that's how pitiful the play calling is. 6 NFL players on this offense, and it is easily the worst offense on a top ten team in the history of CF. Fire him for complete and total incompetence.

Beck did this same crap at Nebraska. All he had to do here was not piss in the secret sauce we already had and he did it anyways. All he had to do was watch our tape from last year to know how to run the system that worked. Instead he is just outsmarting himself, no one else. He could take what the d gives but he doesn't. He could try to go away from plays that aren't working but he is so stubborn he wants to prove they will work, even if it takes 10 failures to get 1 success. He does not make the defense have to guess what is coming, he has the same 4 basic plays. I've seen pop warner games with more imagination than our games this year. How can you not look at the tape of the games and then watch a Bama or Baylor or any number of teams not go "Wow, we really do suck at offense"
Beck didn't destroy the Buckeyes alone... Urban should not have let it get this far but that would have meant putting in the work himself. The players too unfortunately bought into all the hype that they were the best in the country and didn't have the same toughness as last year, no chip on the shoulder. But all of this could have likely been overcome with a productive offense, which we had until Beck showed up. Maybe he is not the whole problem, but it is clear he is not part of the solution.
