As a writer I can tell you first hand that Steve Moffat is by far one of the worst writers I have ever seen. His stories are overly complex, full of dialog that even people with ADHD have to watch in slow motion to understand and worst of all he pretty much ruined the 50th anniversary. Worst of all he is causing the show to be postponed almost a year because he's working on Sherlock Holmes. Not sure if he got the memo but there are, on average 13 consecutive episodes per season. This 6 episodes here and 7 episodes there crap is lame. PLease fire this ass-clown and put a GOOD writer in his place.
