Incompetent, lacks any type of skills to run even a lemonade stand, bet she lives in a gated community and probably needs to check under her pillow before bed. I don't know how this woman sleeps at night. Can you say tranquilizers

Way out of her league. Has built up huge and highly paid tiers of staff to handle what she doesn't understand, which is most of what it takes to educate children and work with teachers, Ridiculous inept Board bypassed the eminently qualified & well experienced Nellie Meyer, EdD.

Given the actions of the District during her administration, Cindy Marten does not have the know-how, ethics, and compassion needed to run the District effectively, honestly, and LEGALLY with the safety of all students and staff in mind. REPLACE her with someone more ethical and competent!

Marten, Hibbelin, and Bivins need to be relieved of their duties IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They DO NOT have the Lincoln students best interest at heart and we need District personnel who really care about not only Lincoln but all schools south of the 8. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!'

Cindy Marten is a narcissist who thrives on attention and approval from those she believes are "important". She loves being the center of attention. I've seen the way she works and find her to be very superficial in her interactions. She touts the beauty of kindness, but don't be fooled- she is not a kind person. Her actions are bizarre- from collecting pennies in jars to picking up dropped fortunes from cookies and finding ways they apply to her life. I could say more, but I'll stop at that. The bottom line: she thrives on attention and power and will do whatever it takes to get it, whether it's kind or not. She has denigrated dozens of effective principals while remaining beholden to the teachers' union, which creates a divide during a time of big changes in the system (Common Core Standards, etc.) when the need to work collaboratively, with trust, is crucial.

It is sad when the CDE had to put together a list of "Best Practices" types of programs for districts to utilize in addressing their Safe Schools Mandate, and the superintendent "touts Restorative Justice" as her plan to address what is happening. Sorry but she should have implemented this program several years ago if she wanted to show that she was on top of her game and the needs of the students and staff at Lincoln. She should have made sure the school and staff has been fully staffed and provided the supports they needed way before this. And since they are one of the most hurt and needed schools for this type of reform, they should have been given their fair share of the LCAP in the beginning with which to do this. Its too late for her to do this now. They need a leader to bring the change NOW!!!!!!
