It's a shame that I can't use my real name, but if I did people like her would do to me what they did to Matt Taylor.

It was her comments after that makes her a pathetic horrible person, "thanks for ruining the comet landing for me asshole" and then her victory lap when he apologised.

this new brand of feminism has nothing in common with Women's suffrage that my great grandmother fought for.

Wow it's a shirt if this is what feminists are going to do to get attention then maybe the people who give her them windows on her face should take them back what a bitch

A guy who helped change the course of human history through science and engineering had to bend over for some lesbian blogger. This is exactly why I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

This isn't feminism, it's Misandrism. It's exactly what they're trying to fight against.

This is the exact opposite for equality. Women like her should be ashamed of themselves.

This level of bullying needs to stop. Women deserve equal treatment, not preferential treatment. When it's unacceptable for those stores at the local mall to have half-naked men on 10 foot signs at their entrance, Dr. Taylor can be asked to change his shirt.

Everyone is too sensitive and ignorant. The guy landed something on a COMET. That's more important that the shirt he was wearing. This lady most likely pressured his management into making him apologize for something that people wear normally all the time at anime conventions, so where is the outrage against men there? Double standards.

Enough with this retarded shit, stop being offended by everything. The man just helped doing something remarkable and all you care about is his clothes. This is the mentality feminism should be fighting. This behaviour helps no one achieving anything.

Equal rights means *anyone* can wear what they want and go unharassed, not just groups you like.

This PC madness has gone to far. She could use the off time to re-evaluate her reasoning and behavior.

As an Asian-America feminist, this sort of behavior disgusts me. This woman is more interested in spreading her toxic agenda than in the progress of humankind

Her accusations are down right unprofessional. Given the monumental feat of his achievement, he shouldn't be subjected to the outfit he was wearing. Is this what we have become? Personally, I feel like such behavior is exactly the type of response that comes from People magazine. If we really want to further the understanding of mankind, we need to rid of people like Rose Eveleth for such childish actions.

Agreed. A scientist helps with a great step for man kind in space exploration and all some people can see is what he wears.

Feminists always demand the right to wear what they want. Give the same right to men.
