Grundy is not only openly and blatantly racist - she is ignorant of U.S. History. Do your research - look at her ignorant comments. Dumb and racist is not what Boston University stands for. Boston University needs better standards for their students.

Why should we reward a racist professor spewing hate with a tenured job as a professor? Fire her now!

Ms. Grundy’s remarks are beyond racism and are ‘hate speech’! She should not be employed as a professor anywhere, ever!

Why would I want a racist to teach my kid? How did this woman get so far in the teaching community? Are they all racist like this?

Disgusting racists such as Saida Grundy have no place in the eduction system. She will only teach intolerance and hate. I fell sorry for the white students that have to come in contact with her. She is a disease and firing her is the cure to save your school.

There is no room for this attitude coming from a professor of a university. Ms. Grundy plans to teach bigotry and racism to the students and further the racial divide of our great country. That's not what students go to college to study. That's not what our country needs.. on the contrary, we need someone to bridge this divide and bring people together on a whole. Ms Grundy needs to be fired from her job at the Boston University for this destructive behavior. She can take up her activism elsewhere in a more appropriate environment.

I have lost all respect for the BU leadership team. The decision to not terminate, or otherwise reprimand Ms. Grundy, sends a clear message to the student body that racism and discrimination is condoned...as long as it's direct towards white males. I find the university's reaction to this even more offensive than Ms. Grundy's comments. Aside from turning a blind eye to misconduct, the university is allowing white males attending her classes to be disadvantaged, which is also unethical. In addition, the university has compromised their moral principals. Rather than doing the right thing, the administration acted out of fear of being called "racist" for reprimanding an African American professor for "free speech". However, if those words were changed from "white" to "black" that same speech would have cost a white professor his tenure. I'm embarrassed for my relatives that have graduated from this school and will never allow my foundation to support this institution again. Maybe Ms. Grundy and her 2,000 supporters will make up the difference in lost revenue by pledging their monetary support to the university. Maybe I'll hit the lottery tomorrow too. There's certainly a better chance of that happening than Dr. Brown finding his moral compass...

The incoming professor has positioned herself as adversary to her white male students before having met a single one of them. Additionally her data on the history of slavery is without merit. I had assumed that BU's recruiting standards were some of the highest in the nation, in terms of quality, when seeking future educators. But I suppose they did not know they were welcoming such an openly racist and bigoted person into their faculty . There is still time to correct this mistake, however. If not, Boston University should prepare itself for legal consequences as soon as Grundy discriminates against a significant portion of her students based on ethnicity and gender.

I will be removing BU from my list of potential college considerations due to your inaction regarding the very inflammatory, ignorant & hurtful statements that were made. I will not enroll at a university that tolerates racism in any form, against any race. Statements of this kind only hurt race relations, and she should be held accountable. The lack of ramifications tell me that the values of BU are not in line with my views on equality for all.

Truly disgusting that someone can have this view of white people. White people didn't invent slavery, but they ended it. I was considering BU for graduate studies, but not anymore
