While I do know that in this day and age, knowledge can be acquired through sources beyond the lab and lecture halls thus making it possible for someone to be competent beyond what their academic credentials tell, it is not acceptable to deceive, shake the confidence and rattle the credibility of the academic system by producing fake qualifications. One's credibility through the alternate route should be earned through outstanding works produced. Clearly, Ms Nisha hasn't demonstrated outstanding work to be regarded as an expert and her fake credentials only shows her desperation to enhance her status. However, most appalling is the reply from IDA which as the authority for infocomm development seems to suggest that false information, fake credentials and cover ups are as much part of the backbone for infocomm infrastructure and regulatory development here in the Global City of Singapore and not even seen as a corrupt practice. I support this petition as an expression that I do not agree with IDA's approach in justifying such practices. If an IDA's consultant can get away with fake credentials, how can we be sure if all recommendations offered are clear necessities or simply off the 'consulting for dummies' lies. It will be even worse if a consultant with fake credentials gain kickbacks from recommendations given.

I believed there are a lot more out there. They need to put in a better practise in assessing and verifying foreigners. Having said that, they should not be hiring foreigners in the first place. Do we not have locals to fill the same role?

No one is above the law, needless to say honesty, not even the governing bodies for our country! Isn't anti corruption the greatest and best policy for government in SINGAPORE?! How is this not a form of corruption? This is not acceptable.

This is an insult to those who had studied so hard to get that coveted paper qualifications in order to get a good job here. A slap in the faces of our parents who worked so hard to put as through school .
