This is not just about Nisha but the whole IDA. There should be an independent enquiry into IDA hiring records. It might open up a can of worms.

Even if the petition came from the The Real Singapore, the facts has indeed been verified to be real. Otherwise, why would IDA be making a statement on this itself?

So, according to you, just because "There are 200+ people on Linkedin who have either a bachelors or a Masters degree from Southern Pacific", it means that Southern Pacific is not a degree mill??
She may be a Singaporean now, but the more important question is this: How did an Indian national get a Singaporean citizenship, using a basic degree from a school ranked 551 in the entire world, and an MBA from a degree mill? If she can set the precedence now, how many more of such low quality foreigners are going to continue flooding our shore??
To make it worse, she is working for a government body now! A good accredited degree is one of the EASIEST way for us to check on the quality of immigrants migrating into Singapore. And if our government cannot even be bothered to do that, it just goes to show how big a failure it is now. And if her lack of qualifications can so easily slip IDA's attention, it only broadcast the lack of governance that IDA has as a government body!
We are indeed in a competitive world. And it makes it all the more important for us to weed out such low-calibre foreign trash, before we can continue with the Singapore growth story. Even if we need to move forward in an all-inclusive, just and fair society, we should not allow unqualified foreign trash to come in to dilute the value of our nation as a whole.

I find IDA's response odd, that the MBA degree was not factored in as it was obtained years before and not after the job application. It would be part of the applicant's qualifications.

If it's okay to have a fake MBA, then what the point of having a first world education system? Private sector fired people with unqualified cert, blacklisted them. Public cant do the same, where the ideas of having the first world government?

I really don't know which is worse, the lax efforts taken to screen an employee or the fact that IDA is letting it slide. Disgraceful. You people go out and hire foreigners when there are excellent universities supplying graduates who have studied so they can transit to working life. Shame!

I look at her skill set and I the exact same thing. I do not have a degree but I have been working in this area for 20 years. I applied to IDA before and had no response. I am upset we are not on the same fighting ground.

Don't just fire her from her job, revoke her citizenship and send her back to India. We had a good and honest government all this years. We need honest people in Singapore too. Just because of few bad name's Singapore is blackened.
