The feedback regarding the current state of the classroom environment continues to confirm the necessity of this petition. I am currently compiling the experiences shared by students to present a formal record to the school administration.

The momentum behind this request confirms that these academic concerns are shared by many within our community. It is clear that the current instructional methods are not meeting the needs of the students.

uh lmao I’m just here bc I wanna see Ms. Abbott get fired even though I’m not even in her classes
Any teacher that will not explain or teach the way teachers should should not be in a teaching environment
I hate me abbot
She just doesn’t teach us. She’s gotta go
I don’t have Mrs.Abbot, I was graced with Mrs.barnes who take times to explain and realizes when a student doesn’t understand or something is wrong in their personal life. I see the stress many students in her class go though. Many aggravated because they are actually interested in achieving a higher grade. Anyone can go on Khan Academy and watch their videos!! That is something teachers should use to follow up or take their education a step further not the first stepping stone. It takes work to be a teacher and have the tolerance to deal with middle schoolers day in and day out . Those who take the time to teach us should be valued. But it’s not until she TEACHES that she’ll get that level of respect. If Mrs.abbot took some time to re-evaluate her teaching methods and took another approach I’m sure she’d be at least a decent teacher. But it’s because of out of her many years of teaching she still hasn’t is the reason I , Jocelyn , feel compelled to sign this petition.
Hope this actually happens

She isn’t a good teacher. We may as well save money and hire google, and we’d have better grades overall
