I never in favor of his hiring. He had early success because of Cowher team. I was disappointed with lack of coaching adjustments in AFC championship game. I am not a fan of type of character players he has brought in to the organization. They are over rated and soft. We need a coach not a cheerleader.

Send him back to Minnesota. He lost all cower talent has no clue how to prepare a team. No motivation. Ben leaves. Tomlin stays. Move on to new team as a fan

When will the Rooneys admit thst hiring Mike Tomlin did not work??? It has been the same thing for 10 years now; playing down to inferior competition, winning games you should win and horrible coaching period!! I read where Tomlin said regarding Big Ben considering retirement that he isn't concerned and he won 1 Super Bowl in 10 years and he is fine with that. Mediocrity over 10 years IS NOT OK!!! Fire him and bring back Cowher.

Course you are going to start out with winning seasons when you inherit a Super Bowl team . Cowher Rebuilt the Steelers from a losing season team. Tomlin has never did that that's the only reason his record is as close to Cowhers

Roethlisberger should not even consider retiring, it should be Tomlin that goes away. He's been holding them back far too long.

On the road to the Super Bowl only to watch the lack luster showing against the vulnerable Patriots. Tomlin should have been long gone by now. He does nothing to motivate or change up when necessary. Too many games where one is absolutely dumbfounded as to how so much talent on the field is wasted year after year. Tomlin does not prepare to finish. The same interview after each loss. Brady is not great, he is good, with a coach who is all about his team and the win. Not a Belichek fan, though he is to be respected for preparing and making the most of the players. He is prepared for the opponent and creating a game plan according to what is going on on the field that day. I have been a Steeler fan since the days of the Steel Curtain. When it was apparent Tomlin did not make the changes necessary to go out and play the second half, I could not watch any longer. If Roethlisberger retires, many will sense it will be due to the poor coaching and the Super Bowls that should have been won and were never to be played due to a coach who can not lead his team, though that will not be voiced by players. This was the year for the Steelers to be in the Super Bowl.

Both have HOF QBs and both are wasting their QBs careers! Both are poor in game managers, stubborn to adjust, and chokes in big games!

Been saying it for years. Get rid of him. Barely making playoffs if at all for years, long losing streaks that got forgotten because of barely making playoffs, getting the worst of Ravens games for the last few years, and getting embarrassed by the Pats time and time again. Not to mention behavior problems like the reports of the team partying like crazy going into the superbowl vs Green Bay (showed by how sloppy they played). Not to mention hiring Haley...

Way past time for tomlin go. Whats sad is the Rooneys appear to willing to lose everything from superbowls to fans and players just to keep this guy. Unbelievable . Don't know if i can stomach another season of "what might have been".

Chuck knoll nor bill would have done the things tomlin has done n still be our coach. lying about bell was ready to go. but 3 snaps in hes on sideline crying about a groin problem that supposedly happened several weeks ago. wasnt reported. its time for this man to go. steelers will never be in another superbowl with him as a coach. never.

As we have been saying LONG before Terry Bradshaw, he is NOT a coach - he is just a semi cheerleader with good seats. I've been so disappointed in the Rooney family for allowing this to continue as well as the drug abuse and rape accusations - which some were true - to continue. When is something going to be done? ?? It's just about too late
