I absolutely cannot believe that you allowed an American solider to stand alone during the national anthem. You honestly do not deserve a job as wonderful as coaching football and you definitely do not deserve the money the NFL an AMERICAN franchise, pays you. F*CK YOU. Have some respect for our soliders.

I have been a lifelong Steelers' fan. I have endured the lean years of the 1960's and the feast years of the 1970's. And, I have struggled to watch the on-field problems that have plagued this team since the beginning of the Mike Tomlin tenure. But, I have never been embarrassed by my favorite professional franchise until this Sunday. To have your team off the field during the National Anthem and ostracize a player, a veteran, and, yes, a national hero who chose not to "honor" that order, is inexcusable. When did standing in respect of the United States become something that was seen as being disloyal. The Pittsburgh Steelers WILL NOT return to any "glory" days until there is a leadership change. Mike Tomlin and his entire coaching staff need to go......NOw!

For a man (Tomlin) who has a pedestrian grasp of the game of football, I believe Mike needs to stay away from loftier topics such as politics.

Trying to be intellectual by having your team stay in the locker to not make a statement? Then jabbing at a veteran who has every right to observe the flag, you showed your true colors and they are not red white and blue! Football is an American sport, no matter your cause do your job and if you have a cause do it on your time! I own a business, if someone tried to push politics on my time they will be punished, you think you are impeachable as a football coach of the almighty league, you think it gives you a national stage. Get way way over yourself, what happens if other causes need to be pushed that don't fit your mold?

Tomlin, gets one more chance. I will never watch another Steeler's game, until they all stand for National Anthem. Why don't some of these protester, who are accomplishing nothing with their protest, spend their time off accompany police officers in these rough neighborhoods and try to figure out a real solution to the problem. Yep, MAN up, go with the police, go on some of their calls, walk in their shoes, see what a real tough job it is to be a police officer. We're waiting, for some REAL solutions.

Passive, unintelligent coaching has pissed me off for a long time. Big Ben would have had 5 rings or more if he had Belichick as head coach. And now he tells his team to stay off the field for the National Anthem? Goodbye Mike. Pittsburgh Steelers are about honor and work, not your insecurities, politics, or Hollywood appeal.

Tomlin is a terrible coach. the only decision he seemed to make in the last 10 years was to disrespect the country he not only lives in but thrives in. He is a disgrace and as a lifelong fan of the steelers, I will boycott this team until they again represent the great city of Pittsburgh rather than the hubris of Mike Tomlin.

You get paid to play a game. We are not interested in your potitical beliefs. If you do not like the way things are going in America, you have the right to vote. You get one vote like anyone else. Until then, You need to accept the will of the PEOPLE. If not, there are plenty of others that will be willing to accept your current position.

disrespecting our soldiers and the American anthem is NOT freedom of speech. Do what you want in your own time, but not when you are paid to do a job/play sports in the America that pays you. Very Disrespectful. I feel that all NFL players should have to serve one year in the military prior to playing professional. Maybe then, then would understand what the flag and the anthem mean
