If he’d worry more about preparing his team and stop being out-coaches by coaches of nferior teams rather than concerning himself with social engineering and identity politics, maybe he could finally get his talented team back to the title game.

Instead of performing a political protest, he should focus on winning games.

True lack of leadership the most important thing a coach should have

I'm 64 and, though never a Pittsburgher, I've been a die-hard Steelers fan since the age of 6. But I love my country first and foremost, and the Steelers behind them. What Tomlin did was unconscionable. Fire him!

From we will protect Villaneuva as a vet to a week later publicly criticizing a decorated veteran. Remember Rocky Bleier who had half his foot blown off and kept on by Rooneys while he recovered? Bleier became a great runner again. Thats what the Steelers are about not this.

Mike Tomlin...I'm so disipointed in you. Allowing, if not orchestrating, the team to stay in the locker room during the anthem??? Then using a cop-out like you were just trying to keep them out of controversy...what an idiot.

What an embarrassment to the NFL! Not only did he keep players in locker room during anthem, he publicly berated a veteran for supporting the country he served. I can only assume the owners support a coach that disrespects the USA, unless.... He goes! He doesn't know what "supporting the teams decision " is until he has served like the only man on his team that has honor.

Tony Dietrich said it best: "Time to go Tomlin. God before country, Country before football. Job before protest. USA all the way baby! You're fired!"

He doesn't deserve to have a job. Disrespecting the flag and hundreds of thousands of Americans who have given their lives for the country is what Tomlin chose. He should not be working, let him find a country that would give h the opportunity he has now, which he does not deserve.

Tomlin, should have stuck to coaching, now even though he said his statement was not political, he has jumped in head first politically. He needs to apologize to Alejandro and America.

Mike Tomlin should be fired for pressuring players not to honor those men and women that have sacrificed for the USA. STAND! You only play a game. Real men and women gave their life so you can make millions. Enough is enough Why are you pressuring people to dishonor USA sons and daughters. If you don't like USA and its freedom get out. Freedom is not for do what you want to do but it is freedom to do what you should do. Sorry you crossed the line Tomlin good bye.

Sua Sponte loser. You don't know leadership and you lost the locker room long time ago. You historically lose to a lessor opponent and you make excuse after excuse. Always someone else's fault. Even my 5 year old knows about poor choices. Idiot

Respect our flag and country. Remember the sacrifices our men and women in uniform gave you opportunities to play a sport and live a lavish lifestyle. I condemn the NFL and its owners.
