This is a petition from residents of Riverside building to fire their rude, racist doorman Jorge, who likes to go by George (because it so white-y!).

He is extremely rude to non-whites, has terrible manners, never greets residents or ever smiles. He never offers to open doors even if they are coming in babies in their arms or strollers, shopping carts, luggage, boxes - anything at all.

For the high rents that we are paying, we deserve better service than having to deal with a sullen, crabby sulky and irritable doorman. We need more doormen/ doorwomen like Virginia, Edwin and Walter who are happy at their jobs and are pleasant to talk to.

When one is leaving for work in the morning or coming back home after a long day, one needs to see a pleasant face, not a grumpy one like Jorge.
