I am scared to watch a game because I do not know if the goalies will stop shots they used to have no problems with. It doesn't surprise me when the red wings lose and thats sad. I do not think anyone really cares about winning at detroit ...everyone probably makes more than enough money to care at all about getting to the playoffs

You cannot kill a tree by just cutting off one branch. The only way is to cut it out by the roots and start fresh. Ken Holland is the problem here and Jeff blashill is the backwash that comes from a manager who has become completely complacent in his job. Jeff blashill was a very decent AHL coach. There is no shame in that. We have a ton of talent in Grand Rapids that is just sitting there after winning a Calder Cup. Almost every other team in the NHL is bringing up players younger and faster than we are. We have Calder Cup champions not playing in the NHL because Ken Holland has lost his way and Farms players like it's 1990. Get rid of Ken Holland and the rest will follow and we can start fresh and be competitive again.

Never imagined I’d see the day the winged wheel couldn’t fetch free agent to come here and immediately win. We have talent, we have enough talent to win hockey games. It’s no coincidence Toronto is one of the hottest hockey teams in the NHL.

He inherited a team that had made the playoffs the previous 24 years and made it again his first year behind the bench, losing in the first round to Steve Yzerman's Lightning. Maybe we should have kept Stevie and let Holland go, then we might not be going through this now.
