Franklin may be a good recruiter and motivator, but he is most certainly not a coach.

Franklin and his staff are on their way to making Penn State a second division Big Ten football team. They have been unable to effectively coach the talent that they have. Under their tenure the quarter back play has regressed and they have not addressed the offensive line issues. Under previous coaches Penn State was known for exceeding expectations because of superior coaching. The current staff puts a team on the field and hopes that their players' natural ability will carry them through. In short they don't have a clue. It;s only a matter of time until players recognize that if they come to Penn State they will not have the opportunity to develop their games.

Franklin should have been hired as cheerleading coach, not football coach.

A good coach wins the games he is supposed to and Penn State is suppsoed to be Temple. With how they were destroyed from top to bottom, we are trickling down to 0-10. Franklin has no idea! He cant coach. He is all talk! Why we hired him for a big program like this, I have no clue. Get rid of him ASAP!

Franklin and the entire coaching staff need to go. This is a disgrace to the football program and to the entire university. If the new AD does nothing about this the just watch all of the awesome 2016 recruits de-commit and go to the likes of Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State. Franklin is ruining a well respected program and we alumni cannot let this happen. Action and action soon as you won't see this team get any better this year.

The most humiliating loss in Penn State history. Franklin cannot adjust when needed and cannot manage a game. Get used to losing until he is gone. Recruiting will take decades to recover. Forget Jerry Sandusky; Franklin will be the death of Penn State football.

Send the Coach and all his assistants back to Vanderbuilt or better yet Neshaminy High School. He is totally out of his element . His sandlot offensive scheme is ruining a good football team.

James Franklin must go find a nice high school team to coach. Kind of reminds me of Obama rhetoric without a clue.

PSU grad student: Franklin has to go! Terrible fame management, no adjustments. Same play on first down continuous times. Hacks Int was on a play which was, unbelievably run on the previous play. Leaving hack in with 1:15 to go to get sacked twice more is a disgrace. Said in post game he didn't think the plays they called would get the qb sacked. Wow, get this clown out of here!
