He did not make a single adjustment against Illinois. The sad thing is that nobody on the coaching staff knew what to do. He was severely out coached. It’s a shame for the players.

How do you lose to Indiana? Penn St has become a second tier team in the Big 10 under Franklin. He is a decent recruiter, the talent of the players is the only thing that keeps us in games. He id NOT a coach, especially a head coach, & defininitly not a top 25 coach. Penn St can do better & should insist on better.

We will never win a championship with him as head coach.....how many years do we have to give him.....he's a joke......every team knows his playbook

He definitely is on over his head.
He calls time out to ice a kicker when winning by 50
but cant hold a lead against good teams. McSorely deserved better.
see South Cal, Ohio State(2), Michigan State (2) etc
See if Saban wants a challenge.

Franklin simply isn't a head coach. WE ARE better than his coaching abilities. I hope we don't have to suffer the fools who are happy with being a second tier team!

Fast forward to 2018. James Franklin is a FRAUD. Recruiter, sure. Developer of talent? NO!! O-line and D-line substandard. Can’t hold leads late in games. FRAUD. Get a real top echelon coach in here. We are Penn State! Don’t settle for average!!

The Lions need a Top 25 coach and coaching staff. The current ensemble will only provide mediocre teams. PSU has the talent now but poor coaching. However, PSU will start losing good recruits and land at the bottom. It will be an uphill battle for decades to come. Such a great football history soon to be nothing but history. No future with Franklin and staff. CHANGE IS NEED SOON.

Agree, Franklin is not a good fit for Penn State --- what about Les Miles? Good fit and winner!

So far, under Franklin, I have seen nothing from the team to recommend his leadership. He looks like a mediocre coach and not good enough for a school like Penn State.
