The VOA Amharic Services used to be one of the reliable media outlets for Ethiopians living in the diaspora, and more importantly for those Ethiopians living at home.
The VOA has recently lost its credibility because many listeners believe that it had been infiltrated by the TPLF repressive regime.
Many believe that Henok Semaegzer is serving as a stooge for the repressive regime in Ethiopia.
It's high time that the VOA should FIRE Henok in order to regain the credibility it has lost because of his partial and full of bias coverages.
I am petitioning not only that I am an Ethiopian listener, but also because I am an American tax payer who is concerned to see that the VOA to live up to its name.

Dear VOA, you need to listen to us as much as we listen to you. Henok Semagzer has been unethical and disrespectful. Condoning him any longer will seriously damage the VOA's credibility to the audience. Thank you.
I signed this petition because I believe Mr Henock Semagzer displayed a very poor and biased judgement on several occasions which I don't expect from a journalist working for VOA. It seems he is there to promoter agenda of TPLF, Ethiopian dictatorial region.
Sad to see a biased journalist who clearly shows in his interviews how he is a supporter of eprdf auteriterian regime. Not because his ethnic are from tiger but his ideology was constructed with in eprdf politics. We listeners consider and believec VOA amharic is a voice for those voicelesses and we excpect to be the same . Thank you!!
I very much doubt he works for the interest of the USA. He is openly supporting the oppressive regime in Ethiopia.
Fire Henok Semaigzer for his unethical behavior. He has a family relationship with members of the ruling oppressive regime in Ethiopia. His attempt to silence the participants of a politically charged discussion about the political situation in Ethiopia is embarrassing for VOA. VOA is a very trusted source of news for many Ethiopians for decades.
I urge VOA Amharic Service to fire Henok Semagzer for he is behaving unprofessionally and for he is serving as a stooge for the repressive TPLF regime in Ethiopia.

Access to information is the components of freedom of expression which is a foundamental right given any person. Trusted Media is an important tool for the realization of this basic right. Henok is working contrary to international law against the rights of oppressed Ethiopians.
