When we are trying to teach children to get along, the use of vulgar terms are not what should be used. At a young age a discussion about bullying would have been better. engaging the students in how they have felt being bullied would have been better. This scare tactic type of learning is more like an experiement then a teaching plan. It appears it was done without forethought and with malice in mind. Having been in a instructors role before this was never a technique I was taught to use when training someone. Poor teaching is all I can say to this.

So what is your agenda here? You are nothing but a terrible person to post information that is factually inaccurate and to threaten the livelihood and career of Mrs. Michaud. Several students discussed in this thread, as well as a student I spoke to directly have clearly stated that there was no swearing forced to be used in the classroom. Your article states that the children were forced to swear in class. Any real man and respectable person would retract their statement and issue a public apology, since you feel the need to publicly slander and defamate the character of Mrs. Michaud. You should be ashamed and humiliated by your actions.

Not one child was forced to swear. I have a 4th grader and spoke to several others. This paper man lesson is common and really gets the point across with children this age. Some children did write swears but if the child that picked that paper wasn't comfortable reading it they simply chose a different word!! No children were bullied and an important lesson, about how a person can't be fixed after they have been torn apart was taught!! Keith & family have a personal issue with Mrs. Michaud, whom I have found to be a respectful and caring principal. Many other parents have reached out to the superintendent telling her just that!! So, good luck on your witch hunt. Anyone that really knows what happened knows that you are twisting this into something it's not Bc you have your own agenda! Please- don't sign this without knowing the facts!!! Thank you- 4th grade hallsville parent!
