My daughter is thankfully no longer in the Manchester School system. If she was subjected to this, the school would be subject held accountable in the harshest possible way.

My husband and son spoke with Mr. Ryder directly.

What would have happened if there were children in this class from tramua? I am very disappointed in the way Hallsville has been run this year.

this is not right at all. There are better ways to teach children about bullying. This teaches them how to swear.

That is disgusting. What did that teach the kids except scar them. The guidance counselor needs to be fired as well. The teacher should have known better and protected his students.

When we are trying to teach children to get along, the use of vulgar terms are not what should be used. At a young age a discussion about bullying would have been better. engaging the students in how they have felt being bullied would have been better. This scare tactic type of learning is more like an experiement then a teaching plan. It appears it was done without forethought and with malice in mind. Having been in a instructors role before this was never a technique I was taught to use when training someone. Poor teaching is all I can say to this.

I'm guessing that honest child is yours? And yet you say Mr Ryder was smiling as in accompaniment? Did you talk to Mr Ryder directly and if it was the principal why was he so happy about how it went?

Not only do we have the testimony of a very honest child from that class but the teacher of that class, Mr. Ryder, also confirmed that what the student was saying was correct. When asked why he let it happen he said, "The principal set up the lesson and his hands were tied."

Grab your torches and pitch forks! Has any other parent in that class come out? Are we sure about what really happened I'm that class? How about we are sure about the facts before we attempt to ruin someone's life.

This is yet another reason to home school our kids. I would NEVER allow my kid to step foot in that school ever again. The liberals are destroying this country from within and are doing a good job of it. I will be calling my reps again about DE-funding the DOE and sending it back to the states where it belongs.

This is yet another reason to home school our kids, I would NEVER allow my kid to step foot in that school again and I would find a way to subtract the school tax from my tax bill.

i am appalled by this! My son is in the 4th grade at Hallsville and relieved that this was not in his classroom. It was inappropriate and wrong to bully these children to participate in something like this.
