All public schools need to "Clean House" of the pitiful examples of so-called educators, kill common-core crap, do away with No Child left behind, and get back to basics. Educators need to do their jobs, children need to do school work proficiently, or FAIL the grade. Laziness and ignorance shouldn't be rewarded, and the dumbing down of our children via common-core, shouldn't be accepted. And good old fashion RESPECT and common MORALS should be taught at home, not by some under educated person with the morals of a government following bafoon. **Time to HOME SCHOOL! **

educators need to be held accountable for their poor judgement regarding the education of that which transcends any mandated syllabus.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Are you familiar with the Anti-Bulling Law adopted by MA several years back? Are you aware that schools are legally required to teach about Bullying? Do you know what it is like to have a child sitting in your class that has NO classmate that will go near them never be friends with them. Try teaching a kid to read, write, count when they are too afraid to make eye contact or can't stop crying cuz they are afraid every moment of the day . Of course you will claim that is the teacher's responsibility but yet when we address the issue in a very powerful lesson you opt for BULLY mode!

Let's start by going on record that I am embarrassed to making a comment on a "Faux News" site. But since this complaint by the parent is ridiculous I had to comment.
I am a health education teacher and I am very familiar with this lesson. I never personally used it in my class but have seen it done countless times. It is a very powerful lesson which demonstrates to children that no matter how many times you apologize to a person for the hurtful insults you may have said to a target, the target will never fully be the same person again, even if they forgive. If FOX was a real news station and weren't looking for a "glorifying Head Liner Story to attack our public schools" they would have done their Homework before running this story. I am also a member of my school's AntiBullying Committee which have every school system was legally required to form after the ANti-Bullying Law was adopted in MA. That lesson that the "Hysterical " parents are reacting to is a Lesson that is included in most of the accepted Science Based Curriculums School Systems are required to use. If the parents, and the people here who are attacking this teacher had a opportunity to see the power of this lesson in person, they would be praising the school for including this as part of their battle against bullies in schools.
For those morons on here commenting it is the school's job to teach academics only, I invite them to attempt to teach a child anything when they child is literally emotionally destroyed by their peers on a daily basis for simply being a bit "different" and by different it could range from style of clothes, hair color, style, taste in music, way they walk, talk, run, etc.

The schools need to stick to teaching academics and quit undermining the parents. I am so disgusted with this sudden surge of subjecting children to vulgar and inappropriate expression/subject matter!!

Stop allowing teachers to brainwash our children. Stick to teaching reading , writing and arithmatic , not the teacher's personal agendas.

My children don't even go to NH schools but I was angered when I read this article. when we are teaching or kids at home about bullying, we aren't making them use vulgar language so teachers have no right to. I feel this exercise will just give children who are bullies, more ways to hurry someone. no child should ever be put in a situation where they are uncomfortable.

Firing the principle is too stiff of a penalty; however, a serious disciplinary action is necessary. Parents should have been informed and given the option to keep their children home during the lesson. There is so much out there that we try to shelter our children from and the administration should know better and be ashamed for their actions. They let down the community and broken our trust putting our children in their hands.
