If you're a true Pirates fan, sign this. Bob Nutting is the 12th richest owner in baseball, therefore the Pirates should have the 12th highest payroll. This is not the case; even though the Pirates could be contenders, they're in the bottom third of payroll. The Bucs are also 28th in the league in payroll percentage compared to revenue: which means they don't spend any money, but have it. Fun fact, the "measly" and "poor" Pirates generated more revenue than the star-studded Toronto Blue Jays who broke the bank to try to win. I'm not asking for the Pirates to have the Yankees or Dodgers payroll, but please spend some money. Nutting is a cheap bastard, and will never spend anything, and this team, these fans, and this city deserves someone who will. Sign this petition and get Nutting FIRED!

Reaching this level of support shows that people are finally finished with the excuses. It has been a long and draining road but knowing this many fans feel the same frustration keeps me moving forward.

I don't want to hear the "we are poor" excuse anymore. If that is the case, then sell the team.
Cares more for 7 springs than a team, that when ran the right way, will bring in way more money without hurting his deap pockets.

I have been a Pirates fan for about thirty years and it is heartbreaking to watch once a solid team be a laughing stock of the league because of one owner. I have watched the team sink to an abysmal depth under Nutting. Get rid of Bob Nutting and let's give Pittsburgh the team they deserve!
