Please evaluate the decision that might make Derrick ineligible. Please consider that young Mr. Madison has not done anything unethical or immoral. Please do not dash his chance to perform in a sport he loves.

Please, kindly reconsider and recognize the exceptional efforts this young man has made to become and remain a student at your University. He is to be commended for his successes. Thank you for your compassion and for recognizing that a misunderstanding is simply a misunderstanding. Thank you.

Derrick is a hard working young man who has edured so much throughout his youg life and has overcome them through football. I truly believe that if given the chance to play in his last year of school he will be able to great things!

This decision is tantamount to blaming the victim.

Ive watched a young boy turn into a man. He has done great leaps forward to go to school and educate himself. This man loves sports and IU, and it would be a huge disservice to the school and its legacy, if Mr. Madison was disallowed to participate.

I was a student who made mistakes that affected my grades & it prolonged the time it took for me to receive my degree from IUPUI. But I am thankful for the people that gave me chance after chance & I hope they do the same for Derrick. Good Luck & God Bless!
