ATB =/= Turn based. YOU FOOLS. The original FF7 was ATB system, which is much more along the lines of ARPG the remake seems to be. FF7 was never turn based..

Speaking of the original, You better believe if they had the capabilities at the time, to make it an ARPG, instead of a ATB, they would have. Just look at Ehrgeiz, which was produced at the same time. FF7, was never Turn based.

this game was never turn based. good job guy. ATB system, is not turn based. Set you remote down during a fight, see if the enemy doesn't win.

this isn't final fantasy 7 at all with a realtime battle system... its more like FF15 reskined to look like FF7.. they just lost my money and i would have actually paid for it episodically if they kept the old battle system
now before anyone says "you always have the original" well we do, but the original doesn't have stunning graphics and voice overs.. i've always said if you're going to take out a key feature like the battle system its no longer like the rest of the series, so it really should have a different name
take out the realtime battle system and bring back the turned based battle system!! make final fantasy, final fantasy again!!!

I enjoyed crisis core. But this is not what we asked for. The graphics look great, but we wanted a turn based game same as before...

Turn base is what made this game and series, It'll simply not be the same if this feature is not included. It defeats the purpose of calling it a remake if it isn't fully restored in the original way it was intended to be.
