KEEP IT TURN BASED. I will be angry if you do an Action RPG. We old school fans need a turn based FF7 remake. Not a reboot.

If the game isn't turn based I won't be buying it. I hate the direction the series has gone in after FFX.

Personally, I don't care either way, but when it comes to remaking a game, I don't like things to be changed so much, so I am signing this for the only reason I give.

People who want this to be Action Based are people who recently came into gaming and Action is all they know. People who want this to be Turn Based are the people who have been dying for this game for 15 years since the PS2 came out. The same people who loved the original so much that it became the biggest game ever. I think Square should side with those people that not only made FF7 huge, but made Square huge. These are the same fans that Square is losing now by trying to appeal to new gamers. Slowly losing all these fans is what's killing Square.

Creating FFVII into an ARPG will make FFVII into a whole new game altogether.
I won't be hoping for an exact battle system. I rather have an improve version of the ATB system. Please remember the victory pose too. Just don't make the game into a whole new different genre.

Turn based fans have already had the entire series stolen from them, would be a great insult if the best turn based game ever made was taken away too.
