This is cape cod a vacation destination, a place during summer that a lot of business thrive. This is not a retirement place move away from the beach if you have a problem.

I grew up in Falmouth, going to the heights beach close by to my Mom's house in the heights. I can assure you the Falmouth Heights/Maravista improvement association does not speak for all residents of the area. The are on their own agenda to twist the fun out of the sand like water from a towel. When you live in a resort community, you know what the number one thing people look for is? FUN! The people who crafted this disgrace to Falmouth should be ashamed of themselves and consider moving to a gated community with a private beach. That's not what public beaches should be.

This is crazy - Falmouth Beaches should be fun - it is where we made memories as kids - my dad was a lifeguard at Falmouth Heights Beach back in the day! Stop these old farts from ruining it for everyone else. If you don't like a crowded beach - then stay home. Tired of the few ruining it for the majority of us who actually like to see others having a good time!

I was born and raised in Falmouth and have worked in Woods Hole for 18 years. I believe these additional beach regulations are too restrictive for public places and are useless. The beach is suppose to be fun. You accept the whole package when you CHOOSE to live near the beach. It doesn't give you the right to treat it as your private property.

The beach is a place for enjoyment not a place to nap. Why would you take away fun harmless activities for the youth? Are you trying to ruin their childhoods and have them go inside and sit on tablets and junk? Or do you want them to be able to go outside and be kids and enjoy life? Make a petition to get rid of fun beach activities in a community where summertime is the only time most of the kids get to have fun? I grew up in Falmouth and I work in Falmouth. I enjoy going to the beach and one of my favorite things to witness is a child playing ball or with a kite with their parents.
