Fighting for Diversity and Inclusion in Baltimore County Sports

350 people have signed the petition in just 24 hours. Why? Because the relocation decision has hurt them. I am in tears when reading all comments over and over. I have been taking care of the coaching program for 6 years and I love my badminton kids. I see them grow physically and mentally. I feel fulfilled when I see how much fun badminton has brought to them. But now, all these will be over. The high school gym will not allow us to do the same playing and coaching for juniors and I am sure the decision makers know about it. But why they still gave us an ORDER ( without any discussion) to relocate? Because they think we are not as important as the others. Because they don’t care my badminton kids will be heartbroken at this holiday season when they learn they will not be able to play like before. Because they think we will be silent and out of this facility with more than 60 heavy mats which high school gym has no space to fit! But this time, they are wrong, because we will not let our badminton kids cry for this careless decision. Instead, we will show our kids that we will protect them from any injustices! ❤️ To all badminton kids...

This is an awesome place to have fun after office hours, keep your body fit and play with players from diverse cultures with good attendance throughout the year. Reducinh the playtime and the number of courts will we very demotivating for everyone who goes here.

Moving the badminton club to a smaller facility will be a very bad move. Club is still growing so as the sport. Diversity is a word badminton and this club can show to everyone.

I hope that this super fun and fine establishment will not be moved. It creates an amazing community of badminton players, and has connected so many people!!

Pay my respect to this honored program and hope it can come into a win -win solution to save the tradition.
