I believe this man should be home resting after this horrible crime. He should be able to defend his home and his LIFE! If anything his charges should be dropped to a misdemeanor offense. But really needs all charges dropped and FREE! I mean if we can't defend our selfs, our family's, nor our home then what are we supposed to do? Get killed? NO I don't think so!

In my opinion he was well justified by defending himself. Two younger "thugs" picked the wrong older gentlemen to beat on. Also in my opinion the other of the three that entered this man's home should be charged. No matter what the altercation started over they had no right for three men to attack this older man, I myself wasn't familiar with anyone involved but by all means if someone entered my home intending to harm my family or myself as an American I would have the right bare arms in self defense. Obviously they wanted this gentleman dead and it just didn't work in their favor. We as Americans need to stand up for what's right.

I never knew till now we could not defend ourself in our homes this is just not right home is as far as anybody should have to go So if I have someone break into my home I'm suppose to do nothing ??

Based on the merits of what I have read here as filed by Mr. Pillersdorf he should be released as of now on a surety bond, pending action if any be a jury.
