As an MHSA alum, I know firsthand how unsafe and time-consuming the school entry process can be. Students deserve to have time to get into school, visit their lockers, and have breakfast before class starts.

I attended in 97 to 2001 to have the entire school using such a small entranceway makes no sense when there’s such a large front door access. There is no reason to have these children hurdled in like cattle and miss out on class .

Use the front entrance. What are you trying to hide. Are there cameras in that hallway and if students feel unsafe. This needs to change. I wanted to se d my child here, maybe not ! Please listen to the customer with out them the school closes.

I’m an MPS parent and am frustrated to hear that the school entry procedure is so inefficient this far into the school year. I’m glad that folks are speaking up and look forward to quick improvements!

This is utterly unacceptable. The bag checks are necessary. But should have students like an alumni like myself, Getting to their classes LATE. Get someone faster to do it or FIND A MORE CONVENIENT SOLUTION.
