This is a petition to fight against the basics card. It's unfair, and it's taking our human rights, by deciding where and what we can buy with our money. The goverment will decide what percentage of our income anywhere between 50 and 100%, to take to decide what shops, how much and what we can buy with it. If this goes though, what will happen with kids after school activity eg. sports and etc, child care, raido rentals, credit card payments, family outing, mortage, personal and car loans and more? We are not saying that the idea is bad, just to direct to those who need the extra help to, not to target everybody on welfare and in low income areas, as some of us can and do budget sucessfully. This will affect anyone on centrelink payments. This will increase crime rates near targeted areas and beyond, incresing tension, anxiety, and stress levels within the community.
