Don’t know where I’d be without the art shop and the great people who work there. Here’s hoping it doesn’t close.

Angry and sad that this is being proposed again. The shop and it's very knowledgeable staff should not be under attack. If this shop is closed students will lose a vital asset - staff who have a thorough understanding of the often confusing and difficult choices of materials facing UG art students. Staffs Uni - this is short sighted and will ultimately impact on the quality of your courses. Shame on you!

Jo and Jim were invaluable during my time at Staffordshire university. They have so much to share with future students, do not make the mistake of losing them.

Disgraceful decision. Our universities should be investing and rejuvenating the arts - not destroying it. Reconsider.

Typical of our University to treat a requirement like this with such disregard, Where did they get their education with decisions like this. The artshop and their staff are very important to us all staff and students alike.

The best place around for art supplies. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Please don't make Jo and Jim redundant!

The sure way of killing off a whole department, is rip out its beating heart. The Art Shop and its incredably talented and knowedgable staff Jo and Jim whom I have the honour calling my former collegues and life long friends are simply indispensable. This simply one of the most stupid and short sighted ideas the I have ever heard.

As a past fine art student, this shop and the knowledgeable staff were indispensable to me at many critical points of my degree. Their value to students out ways financial costs.

In the 4 years I have been at the university, I have noticed the important role the art shop plays, particularly for courses such as Surface Pattern Design (BA). Too many students rely on the art shop for it to be closed down
