I rarely use the art shop being a film student, but when I did use it they were amazing!
I simply went in looking for somthing to resemble blood, Jo straight away was grabbing all different inks and materials testing the ones that they though would work best for my project.
You don’t get that kind of service on a online checkout or chain store. They know the products, they understood what I was looking for and they helped!
The university is making cuts everywhere, it has affected my course. VERY MUCH SO. I have lost 2-3 Lectures this year from my course!

The Art Shop was vital during my time at Staffordshire University and to take it away would be a massive disadvantage to current and future students.

It's vital to have creative courses. If it wasn't for the Surface Pattern design course at Staffs Uni I wouldn't have got my job as a creative designer for a global company. The world would be a very boring place without creative people.
The Art Shop is also a vital part of any creative course along with Jo and Jim's advice and expertise it needs to be on site and stay open.

Couldnt of done my degree with the shop and the amaxing staff... not only are they helpful with tips and tricks but friendly and welcoming. This would be a massice loss to staffs uni.

This shop has always been fundamental to me in emergencies when I’m at uni and I need equipment for deadlines, work etc and I think I it the same for many other students.

The art shop was the biggest help during my entire time at Staffs! It would be a massive loss if it were to shut down.
