The creative students need this shop!!! Maybe the university should stop pouring money into useless facilities and start spending more on the things that matter; like this awesome little shop! You already got rid of the book shop, when will it end?!

The help and technical expertise given by Jim and Jo was a vital part of the support I needed as a fine art student - it isn't a retail job, it's an art technician job

Jim and Jo's knowledge and assistance was incredibly useful during my time at Staffs. They were always so helpful and have such an in depth knowledge of the arts that allowed them to be so useful.
The Arts courses are such an asset to the university. Staffs needs to stop seeing the courses as a cash cow, especially as these are the courses they actually do well.

Having someone who is qualified and know exactly what we need, even when we don’t know what we need, is essential to our success in creative subjects. Replace them with people who aren’t qualified to work with the arts, and our education will suffer!

Years ago when completing my photography degree I would’nt have been able to get through the course without the knowledge, expertise and support from the staff as well as the shop itself.

Invaluable resource - you cannot replace that wealth of knowledge and understanding. I certainly. Benefitted from it while I was a student.
