My firdt year would have been alot more difficult without this shop, it has help me over all 3 of my university years, I would hate to see new students not having the same resources that were available to me taken from them

The current employees have offered so much in the way of expertise and guidance. Keep the staff!

As a former student I cannot put a value on the joy of being able to discuss art needs with people from an art background who can make informed suggestions to help you find what you need.

Yes, let's make cuts to arts. That won't backfire or lead to more austerity at aaaaaallllllll

I always use this shop. It has resources that are hard to get hold of and brilliant when your in trouble and need something last minute.

There is no substitute for experienced staff, they're vital to any successful creative course. Also Jim & Jo are awesome and irreplaceable.

Jo and Jim are vital to the success of the Staffs Uni Art Shop. Their knowledge and experience is vital and the experience of our students.

The shop is an invaluable resource to students and should remain operational with the current staff as they were lovely and supportive when I visited.

The art shop is a precious resource to all creative practitioners; affordable, high-quality materials so conveniently situated really support our practices and creativity, not to mention the expert, approachable art shop staff on hand to give advice.

The Art Shop staff are an asset to our creative courses. They are an essential part of our creative community. Our students benefit from their experience and advice in selecting and ordering materials. There should be investment in people like Jo & Jim, who have worked hard in their roles for many years supporting our students.

The Art shop and the staff are a real asset for art and design students and contributes so much to that very difficult thing indeed to generate.....genuine friendliness!

Clearly, these redundancies should not happen. Support the staff who support our students!

The staff in the art shop reglularly advise me, a staff member, on the best resources for my teaching needs. It would be a real loss to the student experience to see them replaced with non-experts.

Such an invaluable resource for students and staff ... so hard to find items locally and the knowledge that is imparted by Jo and Jim.... This will affect disabled students especially

The University should put the student experience first and keep Jo and Jim, who were brilliant and friendly long before it became a tag line.

If the uni wants to save money they should reduce the Dean's salary and not reduce the technical advice that is brought through their competent staff.
