Hello Woodbine Residents. We are requesting your help in opposing an unfortunate land use rezoning request by one of our neighbors.
The request is to allow multi-vehicles. As you know, if this passes, that could change the landscape of Woodbine; opening the door for others, especially investors, to request the same or more.
While some people may think this does not affect you personally or it's not a big deal, just remember the next petition could be for something else or direct neighbor if this passes.
Please sign this petition as another instrument in the fight against LUP-28 to show to the Board of Commissioners that our neighborhood strongly opposes this.

Please do not approve LUP-28. I believe it would decrease my property value, create more traffic and parking of multiple cars on the street and be a safety issue for us.
Not only no but HELL NO! We could wind up with 15 or 20 people living in one house and 5 or 6 cars (or clunkers) parked on the street. The home values would plummet.
Opposed to this request! Resident has done nothing to participate to community and yard is neglected and in disarray. More cars will only worsen the situation and open door for others to follow suit.
LUP-28 Please do not allow our neighborhood to be turned into a multi family neighborhood. Single family neighborhoods help keep the school systems stable and not subject to transient problems.
We have lived in Woodbine for 30+ years because we love this neighborhood and the family-oriented community it is. To change the zoning would ruin the single-family atmosphere and the reasons why we chose to stay here and raise our children here. Many of our children have grown up and purchased homes here as their first family homes because of the very caring and cooperative attitude of our neighbors.
Lot 137
There are so few neighborhoods left in E. Cobb that have established trees, large yards and driveways that every effort should be made to keep these areas free from changes that may have unintended consequences. There really are families out there looking for areas to with these unique features Woodbine has to offer. Those of us who have lived here for many years deserve to have the HOA covenants followed and this neighborhood preserved for all the peace, quiet, safety and feeling of community that has kept us here for many years. When someone moves into an established area it is their responsibility to determine wether or not the area meets their needs, one family should not be able to force over 360 other families to accept changes that may negatively effect their property values. Zoning laws are put in place for a reason and they need to be followed (one can also access the zoning laws before they buy property).
