Whales are highly sophisticated marine mammals. They are intelligent beings with complex communication system, profound social structure and relationships among themselves akin to elephants and humans. These magnificent creatures are irreplaceable when it comes to their importance to the eco-system and ocean health. Yet whales are on the verge of extinction due to factors such as excessive hunting. Imagine if a whole country such as Japan legalises commercial whaling because it's their tradition. No animal deserves that. Let's call out to Japanese government and authorities to rethink their decision over whale hunting and extend their support towards whale protection instead.
