I have been raw feeding for well over 20 years and nothing I have fed has ever been recalled unlike many kibble out there.

The government and FDA has ignored pet lovers for years and now they are trying to step in and tell us what to be our fur babies. Where was the government (FDA) when we were getting melamine in our dog food and all of us lost many of our pets. My German Shepherds are part of our family and the government has no right to tell us what to feed them unless they are willing to establish good, healthy and safe guidelines for their food. Personally I purchase top beef, cook it and add raw, fresh vegetables and use it with a top, safe proven chow for my dogs. Personally I use Canadie Ancestrial chow and am very pleased with it. It is also Made in America. (Texas)

Raw feeding is the healthiest choice for my pets. Commercial kibble is full of poison.

The FDA is playing favorites and overstepping their authority.

I've been feeding raw for 13 years. Neither I or my dogs have ever gotten sick from the raw meat.

People should be able to evaluate the facts and make their own decisions regarding the food they feed their pets.

FDA comply with your own laws and stop being shills for the kibble companies.

So tired of the politics playing in every aspect of our lives... we have the right to feed our dogs what we feel is the best for them. I am praying for Answers Raw dog food to win this lawsuit. My dogs have eaten this food for years. They have the highest standard of quality and cleanest processing facility practices. Thank you for taking on the FDA. They have destroyed so many Raw Pet food companies by requiring them to HPP treat the food. It isn't raw at this point. The animals are who suffer with these regulations and changes. I plead with judge to rule in favor to protect Answers and many other companies from being forced to HPP treat the raw meat. Consumers who purchase raw meat pet food for their animals do so because of health benefits and usually serious dietary changes that are necessary for great health. HPP destroys all the healthy aspects of raw meat and makes it no longer a healthy option to feed our pets. I applaud Answers for having the courage to stand up to this regulation and protect the consumer who wants to feed raw meat. The studies are there to prove raw meat dog feeders are not putting their pets health or their famines health in jeopardy . Thank you and I hope Judge reads this and hears my plea. When dogs and cats eat "raw" in the wild, they have never got salmonella. They can't get it. So there is no way they can get it from raw made for them. As in the excuse of the pet might lick the baby's face...how many times has a pet licked their genitals and then licked the baby's face or yours? The saliva in the pet's mouth helps to kill the wrong bacteria before it has a chance to spread to others. Otherwise millions of people would have been affected from "puppy kisses" by now. Get real, be informed, get a life people.

Love feeding my dog raw as she is the epitome of health.

People can kill babies but I could lose my right to feed my dog raw food. Since when is the law worried about harming children. My dog has licked my nephew a million times. My dog eats raw. Never has my nephew contracted salmonella, nor have I.

Follow the money and power grab. Regular dog food companies love this attack on raw food and it also gives FDA more power. It is total overreach and needs to be stopped!

I wholeheartedly add my name to this petition. After losing 2 kibble-eating pets, I am now a totally raw food serving pet parent.
