My dogs THRIVE on an AAFCO compliant raw blend, without all of the issues they previously had on kibble. Going back to a cooked diet would feel as if I was literally killing them.

What has happened to the land of the free? Free choice is a right!

Raw diet is keeping my dogs healthy, not making them or my family sick. This is bad science by the FDA based on biased views. I want to be able to feed my dogs healthy food, not processed kibble!

Freedom of choice of food for pet owners should be a right not a nice to have. Some pets have health conditions that require a non processed diet. Our pets our choice.

I prefer to feed my dog a raw real food diet versus dry processed chemicals.

My Pom will not eat dog food but he loves the raw food that is freeze dried.

Is there anything in this life the government doesn’t stick their regulatory nose in?

I’ve been feeding my dogs a raw diet for years have never had a problem salmonella. Much safer than feeding chemical laden dry food.

Is the fda going to decide next to make humans eat cereal 24/7 and no fresh foods? Cats and dogs need to eat the diet God intended them to eat. The fda needs to stay out of it. They have no business telling me what I can and can not feed my animals.

This is ludicrous! These regulations must stopped as they are invasive and discriminatory. i feed my dogs raw food as it is the most natural and healthy diet for them.

This attack on raw feeding is a gross overstepping of authority. The evidence of benefit for raw feeding is statistically significant and substantial. The FDA should focus on all of the carcinogenic crap that is marketed for human consumption.

I have the right to feed my dog what I choose. Burned brown nuggets are not the most healthy food for her. As long as I make sure to wash my hands and anything used to prepare her raw foot for the human recommended times, there is no danger.

This action by the FDA is completely incoherent.

My pets would suffer if not allowed to eat raw foods - their health would decline

Let’s not let this happen

Pet parents should have the right to choose what to feed their furbabies.

I will fight for the right to buy raw/minimally processed pet food. I see the difference in my pets when I start them on raw (I have rescues). Coats are glossier, less dry, no dandruff, poops are more formed, smaller and a whole less smelly. Absolutely NO negatives when it comes to properly prepared raw foods.
