Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

I have the right to feed raw.

With all the garbage that is allowed to be put in processing of dog food I think the fda should keep their nose out of people being allowed to feed raw to their dogs if they want to!

Kibble is killing our pets, raw diet maintains health and wellness. How many recalls have there been on kibble recently? That says it all.

Stop allowing lobbyists to kill our dogs!

Kibble is killing our pets! Specie appropriate food is saving the loves of our pets! Stop this nonsense! Put more effort on stopping the big dog food manufactures from making unsafe, over processed, peservative killing, pet foods and left those who are willing to put in their own efforts to keeping their pets healthy and alive longer. I have lost 3 pets and those I have now deserve high quality raw specie appropriate food!

Pet owners should have the right to choose not be dictated to by so called 'experts'. The same experts who are killing our animals with unnecessary vaccinations and chemical pest control. Raw fed animals are healthy and don't need vets every other week for itchy skin,ear infections and other drug induced illnesses- oh perhaps that's why they don't want us to feed raw????

I will do what is in the best interest of my animals. Just as I decide what is best for my children. You cannot dictate to me!

It is my right to feed my pet minimally processed foods. From my own research, I conclude that more dogs and cats have died or fallen seriously ill as a direct result of dry and canned foods, than raw or fresh foods (The illnesses and deaths relating to commercial dry foods are astonishing!!!!)

Let us decide for ourselves what is safe for our pets. The pet food industry has not done such a great job!

My dogs have been on a raw diet. I lost my labrador retriever to cancer. All her diet was kibble. Made the change after we lost her. Saved my other dog. My dog now is on a raw diet she is perfectly healthy and in great shape.

Raw diets have saved too many of my pets and others that I have helped. Processed diets will NOT be a part of our pets' diets, ever again. So why don't you just work with the raw pet food industry instead of trying to destroy it. We NEED real food, so do our pets. Government should stay out of this, it's not really about what is best for the pets and their humans, but how much money is being passed around ... You destroy the raw food pet industry and those of us that rely on it will just make our own, unfortunately that is when we will have real issues because most don't have a clue how to do that properly and the pets will suffer. So come on, there is a growing market that needs to be allowed to thrive, for the sake of our pets. Go to any specialty pet store and look at their customers' pets, listen to their stories, too many will share awesome stories that can't be ignored. I should have the right to make a choice on what I think is best for my pets. RAW FOOD IS IT.

How about listening to the pet owners and stop catering to kibble companies? This is ridiculous

This is only going to make people purchase unprocessed human grade raw meat to feed raw, which is meant to be cooked so is full of bacteria, unlike properly processed raw meat diets which are treated to kill the bacteria! It also takes a lot of work to get the right nutrients in home-made food and the raw food companies meet AAFCO standards. Do not ban these foods! It will cause more problems than it will help!

My dog deserves to eat how her species is designed to eat: raw food. Cooked dog food is a recent human invention and is not suitable for dogs.

Food isn't about Health for animals or humans anymore, it's always about WEALTH.
