Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

The so called "FDA approved" over processed cooked kibble has made my dogs ill. Big business should not have the right to kill with their products. Keep access to the healthy feed raw or minimally processed pet! food

My cat needs raw food because of allergies.

This country is a country of freedom. My right to feed my dog what I choose is my right. Salmonella has been found in more human food then raw pet food. The human side of the food cycle is less scrutinized then what we feed our pets. Our vegetables are grown in Roundup infused soil, causing cancer and the FDA sees no issue. Focus on something more important and let per parents make the decisions for themselves.

My 8 and 10 year old dogs have thrived on Answers Detailed raw food for several years now.

Raw food has restored my cats health. Her fur has finally grown back on her legs, stomach and back. Also she is not throwing up.

I would feed my dog an FDA employee but without a spine the bone content just isn't there.

Consumer’s do not need the government to restrict what they can or cannot buy for their own pets. Raw food has become popular because there are so many problems with pet ‘food’ produced by the large, wealthy and apparently very influential corporations, who see their bad products loosing market share.

We know that natural or minimally processed foods are best for us, why on Earth do they think it is any different with dogs?

Raw food is much healthier than processed canned or dried food. We have the right to feed out pets the best food we can afford.

A balanced, raw, species appropriate diet is the best, safest and healthiest feeding option for our most loved pets. Where appropriate food handling procedures are observed, neither the pet nor the owner are at risk. It is not a governments place to dictate our feeding choices for ourselves or our pets. To expect zero salmonella is completely unrealistic even in human food.

It is not the governments duty or place to tell a responsible pet owner that proven, nutritional, healthy food should not be an option for their pets.

Multiple kibbles have made my dog sick and no one is banning all processed kibbles. Raw is the only diet that has made my dog healthy and energetic. We should be allowed to feed our pets what we feel is the best diet for them without people butting their noses in it.
