Dogs are carnivores and I have every right to feed them a species appropriate diet. I do not believe that feeding a highly processed "kibble" is in the best interest of my pet's health.

STOP telling us what is BEST for our dogs! We are capable of determining what is best for them. Let you s make our OWN choices.

The FDA needs to start basing decisions on what is healthy for the public and their pets. Citizens of the U.S. elect politicians and pay taxes to have politicians and federal employees work for all the people and not just for big business and the wealthiest Americans. Since politicians can not expect to get elected without a majority of American voters and will not retain their offices going forward if they don’t, they need to start doing their jobs and stop allowing the largest dog food manufacturers to sell products with substandard ingredients. It appears that future elections in this country will continue to become more contentious and the average American is watching to see where the loyalties of the FDA and the courts truly resided because that could very easily determine WHO gets elected in 2020 and who ends up unemployed after the election. They also need to stop allowing these huge corporations to manipulate the pet food market with the intention of further increasing their profits by eliminating and restricting competition through the use of subversive tactics by groups being secretly hired or coerced into publishing documentation with fake facts the likes of which only benefit these very large corporations. No companies have been specifically mentioned by name. That was intentional BUT you know who they are. The FDA currently appears to have been compromised or at the very least very poorly informed and this needs to get corrected immediately. FDA please start doing your job in a unbiased fashion. You need to focus your energies on eliminating hazardous chemicals, pesticides and other unhealthy products and practices from the U. S. food supply and stop spending hard earned taxpayer money on frivolous endeavors such as banning the raw dog food market. Doing so would significantly reduce illnesses in this country and save our economy and the average American many billions of dollars every year. Since the most recent tax law changes have enabled

I think instead of harassing people who care enough bout their pets to go the extra mile and feed raw , the powers that be should be trying to get stiffer laws against animal abuse in all 50 states

Cats eat raw food. I know how to wash my hands so my safety isn't an issue. Leave raw food as a category alone and instead pursue unhealthy/poisonous pet food ingredients and contaminated manufacturing.

I demand my right to choose what I feed my pet as I alone am my dogs advocate. A job I take very seriously. As a species that has canines they need to consume raw meat and bones.

I am against any agency telling me what I can feed my pets as long as it is healthy and a raw diet is !

A raw food diet is the only thing that kept my cat alive. Now my dog also relies on a raw diet for her health issues. There is such an improvement in their health when they eat raw.

While I feed both my cats raw food out of convenience, it’s really my older cats who desperately needs it. She’s tried every commercial food under the sun and had both diarrhea and vomiting after each. She got to a dangerously low weight. I could she her spine sticking out. After much research and no where else to turn I decided to try a raw diet with her. It was day and night. After eating the raw food she had the first solid stool I’ve ever seen from her. If you take away her right to eat raw food, you are literally going to take away her life to live.

Do not take my rights away as a caring active pet parent. I know what's best for my dogs as well as my children and I feed them nutritious supplemental food and treats.
