I support the right to choose what to feed my pets as I’m my pets best advocate. Answers Raw dog food has been the ONLY food my dog can eat with her allergies to preservatives found in kibble. Not all pets can eat highly processed foods. FDA should not ignore centuries of raw feeding evidence showing it does have benefits to our pets. FDA should not ignore that raw feeding requires the same practice of cleanliness that preparing raw meat does for our own human families.

I’m a veterinarian and have been raw feeding and recommending it for years now. I’ve seen health improvements in my own dog and my clients’ dogs. It is a species appropriate less processed meal, the way nature intended.

It should be our right to have access to minimally/gently processed pet foods. FDA should be more worried about 4D animals ending up in highly processed pet food rather than freaking out over bacteria indiscriminately.

Someone has to speak for those who can't!

I've been feed raw for six years! Never have had a sick dog or person from it. Kibble on the other hand almost killed my dog when Taste of the Wild decided not to tell owners for four days that their food was contaminated.

Raw food saves lives and Answers helps that to happen.

How ridiculous - our government no longer acts with the good of the people in mind. It is obvious this legislation is driven by the big business pet food boys. Enough. Dogs thrive on minimally processed diets! Isn't that what doctors recommend for their human patients - a diet with fresh, minimally processed foods?

America freedom of choice. Best thing I ever did for dogs was putting them on raw!

It's about time that the FDA gets their hands out of pockets of Big Pet Food Companies.
