We want consumer options.

As a pet food retailer, raw food is the greatest, healthiest option for our animals. We must stand up to this!

We must be able to provide our animals with a species appropriate diet. The FDA, AAFCO and Colorado have no right to do this to our companion animals.

Your time and efforts needs to be more on the dry kibble companies making sure the ingredients are up to standard. I don't know of one raw food company that has had pentobarbital in their meat products. Everyone needs to be in compliance that there aren't any euthanize or dead animals products allowed in these factories. Seriously, what do you think people fed their dogs and cats before kibble was on the market. They were fed table scraps and raw meat and bones. I don't trust the companies that make kibble and nor will I NEVER EVER feed my guys the poor quality food again. It is not your choice to decide what my guys eat! It's my RIGHT to do what is best for them not what you dictate. Do your job and quit worrying where commas are placed and what size font needs to be on labels. There needs to be accountability for all pet food not just a witch hunt on raw food companies.

Over the years, minimally processed foods saved the lives of 2 of my dogs who had been sent home in hospice care. Each time minimally processed gave us additional time with them. There is no going back for us now; less health issues is a high benefit we are enjoying. Shiny coats, healthy immune systems, white teeth, and good digestive systems are all the evidence we need.

Stop being bias against raw pet food companies!

Most consumers trust pet food manufacturers to provide a healthy, convenient food for their pets. When a company actually fulfills this trust, they shouldn't be penalized for it by their larger competition.

Pet parents are tired of being told something is dangerous to stay away. Keep the big companies in check already.

Government should be for everyone...not just those who can buy their way.

Once again the government doing their own thing as they forget “they” work for the “people” and like is, they too must follow the “laws” rather than their own agendas!

Raw feeding produces healthy dogs. I've seen it first hand. Would never go back to kibble.

It is my right to want to feed my pet the best natural food possible

There are only a few pet foods I consider safe to use . I don't eat overly processed trash & don't feed it to my pets. I wish it was easier to find safe foods , but label regulations make it next to impossible.
