Jeannette. I understand if people want to feed a small, hard piece of overcooked kibble. Please understand that I want to feed a diet perfect for my animals that include raw, unprocessed food for mine. Just leave us alone

These pets are my charges, under my care. I have to pay their vet bills, so I should have the right to choose the kind of food I feed my pets. I feed my cats food--raw meats, bones, and organs--that helps them avoid the vet bill, which is presumably why this petition exists.

I feed minimally processed petfood and my pets thrive on it. Vet bills minimal--Zero chronic skin or system issues. Zero inflammation. Zero dental issues either.

My dogs have thrived on raw dog food. You should be regulating the crap that’s in kibble.

We are so very happy with the healthy results we are getting by feeding out pet minimally processed foods. We believe that great food will lead to great health.

Don't take away our right to feed our pets REAL and HEALTHY food! I made the switch from kibble to a minimally processed diet and the change in all my dogs health and appearance was unreal. They all have a new lease on life! I will never go back to high processed foods again!

I’ve been feeding raw food for 12 years. It saved one of my dogs life after almost losing her life from vaccines. Raw diet has only the best health benefits for my pack. I will never feed any other way.

I've been feeding my dogs raw for the past 11 years and have seen the results a fresh, raw diet provides. I just don't understand how AAFCO is ok with by-products, rendered meats from dead, diseased, dying and disabled livestock - even roadkill! - yet somehow the raw food side of the industry is being made to be the villains of the pet food industry. THIS HAS TO STOP!! The FDA needs to provide a fair and balanced set of rules that are clear-cut and based on agreed upon standards based on truth and good conscious.

Raw feeders KNOW what they are feeding...UNprocessed, species appropriate diets for their pets. Butt out!

I am appalled at the FDA and AAFCO attacking raw pet food suppliers while ignoring laws established by Congress.

Raw is seriously the best thing that has ever happened to my dogs. It’s crazy to think that a corporation could and would try to take that away. That would be like insisting all children eat McDonald’s forever because it’s easier to track that feeding your kid healthy meals from home.

Raw saved my dog's life. He was on a bunch of meds and his health was failing fast. After 6 months of raw, no meds and another 3 years of quality life. Wish I had fed raw a lot sooner.

I have very little faith in the FDA, that some seem to regard as gods, and this just gives me another reason not to trust them. What exactly do these think dogs and cats are built to eat? They don’t hunt Iams and Fancy Feast (which are crap foods, btw) in the wild. We, as consumers, have the right to have that option available to us. I will not have my life, or the lives of my pets, who are my babies, regulated by a faceless government institution, that doesn’t know us or care for us in the least.

I support the urgent need to have SAFE pet food that we can trust. We must keep fighting for the health of our animals.

We have a RIGHT to provide the best we can for our fur babies and you selfish people will NOT take that away from us!!!
