Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

Raw pet food companies are essential in providing a nutritionally balanced diet for consumers such as myself who wish to feed raw diets. Restrictions on this industry will only result in an increase of homemade diets that may be nutritionally inadequate.

How and what I feed my pets should be up to me. I should not be forced to feed sub par foods to my dogs because someone else is afraid of raw, biologically appropriate foods. I will feed how I want, one way or another so just let us do it. I do want safety but please be smart about how it is regulated. Fermentation is the BEST was to ensure my pet is eating a safe raw food.

I fully support Answers on this & the right for pet parents everywhere to be able to have the option to make the best decisions possible for their pets for raw, healthy food, without being hindered by entities that have no idea what a family is dealing with.

Answer's Pet Food quite LITERALLY saved my dog's life.

Our rescued lab came to us with so many health issues it was ridiculous & expensive. Switching 2 years ago to Answers Detailed Raw was a god send. His health & blood work is fantastic & our vet team is over the moon. Our other 2 labs were fed the "best kibble on the market" now on the "bad list" and both of them had heart problems, mast cell tumors & other health issues. We fully support Answers on this & the right for pet parents everywhere to be able to have the option to make the best decisions possible for their pets without being hindered by entities that have no idea what a family is dealing with. The recall notices in the last few years from the USDA and FDA for pet & human food alike/drugs/products has exploded. There are those that are warranted and some that seem to have questionable reasons behind them. Possibly our government entities should be using less subjectivity & trying to appease big corporations with disinterested shareholders & begin using objective proven science and good old common sense in their approach to what and whom they target going forward.

Stop killing our pets.

That parent should be able to choose a nutritious food for their pets!

Pet parents MUST be the voice for their pets and insist on better regulations when it comes to pet food. How are companies getting away with low quality and often times, toxic ingredients? Most of the products being sold should not be labeled FOOD...they are far from it. We need more high quality, premium pet food options and do away with the extruded, highly processed garbage made from sources that we as humans wouldn't even eat. And there needs to not only be regulations on what is contained in "pet food" but also on the marketing ploys that these large companies are getting away with.

Regulators are okay with feeding our pets garbage, but healthy, biologically appropriate food is out? This is so wrong - it has to change!

Consumer freedom is essential in a free market.

Our dogs have thrived in a well-formulated Rae diet for ten years. I consider it a right as a citizen to be able to purchase that. Please asked for valid evidence of negative outcomes for dogs and cats (and you will find very little)

Whether you believe feeding raw is right or not, we have the right to choose. By enforcing ridiculously extreme "safety" standards are producers of raw food you are trying to take away this right. Just because you have the right to do it doesn't make it right. Do the RIGHT thing. Do the MORAL thing.

Please protect MY RIGHTS to choose what is best for myself, my family, my pets.

I have been feeding Answers for over two years to four dogs. My dogs went from having multiple health issues and merely surviving on kibble to THRIVING on Answers Food and Additionals. We stand with Answers!
