Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

Answers pet food is the best! Just ask my golden girls age 14.5 and 12. That’s amazing for golden retrievers! Bloodwork of a young dog!

I would like to be able to purchase pet food that is as safe and as nutritious (on a breed-specific basis) as USDA human food is for my children. To the extent that FDA and AAFCO cannot meet this criteria, perhaps they should request congress to assign the essential regulatory oversight authority to USDA.

Balanced raw is the diet cats have evolved to eat. Many people rely on commercially prepared meals of this type. The government may advise, but should not restrict our access by making unnecessary regulations.

Raw food has saved my girl's life. We have the right to feed raw!

I want the freedom to choose what healthy foods my pets eat.

The FDA should not be allowed to tell us what we can and cannot feed to our pets, especially when they are the ones who approved all of the processed foods that have been making animals sick and killing them for years now.

More proof that government is not the answer. First they’ll say you can’t feed your pet this or that. Next, they’ll say you can’t eat this or that.(Pro-Tip, they already do by taxing sodas in “sugary drinks” in certain states.)

My puppy was on dry dog food that the FDA says is safe but he would be sick all the time we switched him to a raw minimally processed diet and he is now healthier that he has ever been.

No one should be able to force us to feed our pets over processed dangerous garbage.

I prefer to feed my dogs raw than cereals and meat meals derivatives

As a busy mom of 3 young kids, feeding a premade raw was the only way I could easily feed my pet who has allergies. I didnt have the free time to source and make my own balanced raw diet. All kibble tried (5 brands) left my dog in turmoil. The freedom to chose to purchase from these companies needs to remain!
