Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

I welcome the opportunity to sign this petition to feel I helped in some small way to protect our precious animals. I will encourage others to sign as well.

My cat is so severely allergic to food, his only option is to eat raw. This would make it near impossible for him to survive.

Come on, is this really something we need to fight for? Keep the government away from my pets.

I am requesting the FDA to regulate pet food per established federal laws, not policy or Agency beliefs. FDA is a tax payer funded government organization – and is required by federal law to enforce and follow federal laws. Yet time and time again the Agency’s actions are NOT within the federal regulations it is required to abide by/enforce. FDA utilizes policies as law to the destruction of my rights to purchase a minimally processed pet food. FDA utilizes personal belief allowing illegal waste (diseased animals and animals that have died otherwise than by slaughter) into pet food even though federal law specifically defines this exact material as adulterated. I am a law abiding citizen of the U.S. and I fully expect my Food and Drug Administration to be a law abiding agency. I am requesting a response to this email confirming FDA will indeed enforce federal law in pet food or admitting the agency will continue to ignore law. Your response (or lack of response) will be provided to my elected officials.

I should have the right to feed my dog a healthy balanced meal. I have sustained healthy dogs up into their 18th year (still going!) feeding meals without massive amounts of carbs and grains. Please defend my right to do so.

Its our right here in the USA This is all my dog can eat without side effects

Raw feeding is the BEST thing I was able to do to make sure my dog continues to have a healthy life.

Pets are our family and deserve to have food that is safe.

WE have the right to feed what we choose and raw is by far the healthiest choice for our dogs and cats. Once again the gov feels it knows "what's best" with zero science to back up their regulations.
