Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

I've been raw feeding my dog for 4 years now and will never look back!!! It not only cleared up her allergies but when she got really sick this past year from a tick illness the vet says me feeding her raw is why she is still alive!

I have fed raw for 9 years and the difference in my dogs health has been remarkable. My current pets are active in dog performance sports and are athletes. Please don't take away my right as a responsible pet owner to feed what is best for them, for their health and for their well-being.

As a long time pet owner I should have the right to choose the food that I believe is best for the health of my pets. My dogs have thrived on Answers Pet foods for several years now. This targeting of the small commercial raw pet food industry is totally wrong and unjustified!

It's time to stop those big companies who do not care about our pets welfare

My pets have thrived on a raw diet with no complications, I had recently adopted cats and have learned that one of the best premade foods (Radcat) out there for them is no longer in business due to stuff with the FDA.

We as pet owners should have the right to choose the best food to feed our pets, and the fact is, a well balanced raw diet is what's best. Some may disagree and distrust raw food, but those of us who see the numerous benefits should still be given the right to choose for ourselves and our pets.

Let us decide on how we feed our pets. We are the ones that have to pay for them and care for them it should be our right to feed what we feel is best!

Please do not take away our rights to obtain excellent quality, safe, healthy and minimally processed raw pet food. Animal health actually benefits from minimally processed pet foods, as I have seen in my own dogs over the last decade. The difference is remarkable in their well being and longevity. Consider the excellent care taken in zoos to feed raw, biologically appropriate species specific food. If they are fed refined, processed food they become diseased and die. You are not protecting anyone with these restrictions except the bottom line of the processed pet food industry.

I am requesting that Congress, Judges, state legislatures, and any other oversight agencies, to protect my rights as a consumer to buy and feed raw or minimally processed pet food and to prohibit government agencies from arbitrarily creating, and enforcing zero tolerance policies without proper scientific evidence to back up the enforcement.

Never feeding processed food again!

Time is well overdue to stop the corporate companies poisoning our pets. Raw feeding saved my dogs life!

Raw feeding of dogs has been successful for years. If science would take the time to properly research it, they would find it is better than feeding processed. Think of it this way, do humans do better eating a whole food diet or a diet filled with processed food. Duh, whole food...it's being pushed everyday to eat more whole foods. Same for our dogs. Let's not let big box commercial dog food companies kill our dogs!

I have successfully been feeding raw for over 25 years. Years of controlled studies are required before FDA/AAFCO/etc. can back up worthless allegations and information to consumers. I control what I feed my pets not the government.
