We have the right to feed our dogs what we consider most appropriate and healthy. This includes raw diets.

I have been feeding raw dog food since 1999. Never had any issues with my dogs or I getting sick.

Pet food needs to be regulated just like human food. Too many of our fur babies are dying because of the lack of regulations and consideration of health and safety if our loving pets!

I think it is my right to purchase and feed raw or minimally processed pet food manufactured by small family and independent companies. Don't let it be eroded by big business and government.

Just like everything else the government wants total control of our lives. The same with our food. It's a disgrace how our pet food can have dead, diseased, contaminated, euthanized animals, packaging you name it all rendered down into kibble. What a joke.

This has to stop. We have a right to feed fresh, whole foods to our animals.

I research what I feed. Commercial leaves a lot to be desired.

It is important my dog eats a raw food diet as she has IBS. The only thing that controls her symptoms (gastritis symptoms- diarrhea) is raw food.

I value the ability to purchase complete and balanced raw and/or minimally processed pet food manufactured by small family and independent companies. All dog food products (inlcuding kibble) and all dog food companies should be held to the same standards, and be held to the same level of accountability with the same policies and practices. Personally, I believe if a Zero Tolerance Policy exists for one category of pet food, there should be a Zero Tolerance Policy enforced for all types of pet food, regarding all types of dangerous contamination...perhaps if large dog food manufacturers were held to the same standards for their kibble and canned food, issues regarding pentobarbital contamination would have been addressed effectively, instead of resurfacing decade after decade. Again, I value my ability to purchase “complete and balanced,” regulated, safe raw or minimally processed pet food products, many using organic, pasture-raised, humanely handled, whole rich nutritious food ingredients, and I absolutely do not want to lose this right.

Clean up the chemicals they are spraying on and growing in, the food we and our pets eat... then you might solve the real problem with foods and then we can look t the diets more honestly and clearly.
